How to Use Your Card

More Than an Affirmation

Your reality does not begin with what you want. It begins with who you believe yourself to be.

Its highly polished surface allows you to see your own reflection directly between the engraved manifestation statements. The words do not appear beside you or somewhere outside of you.

You appear within them

The Fundamental Principle

The affirmation is no longer describing a future you hope to experience. It is placed around the image of the person choosing to embody it now.

Many people use affirmations by repeating words they hope will eventually become true. But when an affirmation remains separate from your identity, it keeps feeling like a distant goal - something you desire, but do not yet possess. The card is designed to change that relationship.

Identity, Not Abstraction

Your Reflection Gives the Words an Identity

When you read an ordinary affirmation, the words can stay abstract. You may read I am abundant - but a part of you still interprets it as something else.

What the mind hears instead

I hope I become abundant.

I am trying to attract abundance.

Perhaps abundance will come to me one day.

What the card restores

I AM - your reflection - the chosen state.

The words I AM are no longer disconnected from the person making the declaration. You see the person to whom the statement belongs. You see yourself.

Wanting says

“This is something I do not yet have.”

Embodiment says

“This is the state from which I now choose to live.”

Manifestation is not only about repeating desired outcomes. It is about changing the position from which you see yourself. The card is intended to help you cross that inner distance.

The Present Tense

The Mirror Does Not Show the Future

It shows you the person who exists now. When your reflection appears between the statements, you are not looking at someone who must first become worthy, successful, loved, safe, healthy, or abundant.

You are looking at the person being invited to accept that identity in the present moment. Before the world changes, before the evidence appears, you practice seeing yourself differently.

You are no longer using the mirror only to examine your appearance. You are using it to meet the identity you have chosen.

From Repetition to Recognition

The Goal Is Not Repetition.
The Goal Is Identification.

Affirmations are often repeated mechanically while the mind stays connected to the old story. The card is not here to cover those thoughts with empty positive words - it is here to create a moment of conscious recognition.

The old story, running underneath

I have never been successful.

I am not chosen.

I am not safe.

Nothing ever changes for me.

Read them as a declaration of identity

These words are about me.

This is the state I am choosing.

This is the version of myself from which I now intend to think, feel, and live.

If It Feels Unfamiliar

Why Looking Into Your Own Eyes Matters

You are no longer speaking into empty space. You are speaking to yourself, without distraction. The reflection makes it difficult to treat the affirmation as a meaningless sentence - it confronts you with the relationship you currently have with yourself.

At first this can feel unfamiliar. You may notice resistance, or become aware of old assumptions, self-doubt, and inner contradiction. This does not mean you are using the card incorrectly.

It means the card is showing you the distance between your current self-concept and the identity you desire to embody.

That awareness is valuable. Instead of fighting the resistance, observe it - then gently return your attention to the reflection and the chosen statement. You do not need to force perfect certainty. Each time you return, the automatic pull of the old identity weakens.

The Meaning of “I AM”

Not the Start of a Positive Sentence.
A Statement of Identity.

Whatever you consistently place after I AM becomes part of the story you tell about yourself. These are affirmations too, even when spoken unconsciously.

“I am unsuccessful.”

“I am overlooked.”

“I am always struggling.”

“I am not enough.”

The card interrupts that automatic inner narration and gives you a deliberate statement to return to. It does not represent a power outside of you - it points back to the person in the reflection.

You are not asking the card to create your reality. You are using it to remember the state from which you choose to create.

Embodiment Instead of Chasing

Chasing Keeps Your Attention Fixed on Absence

Instead of waiting for the outside world to give you permission to feel abundant, loved, secure, confident, or fulfilled, you begin practising that identity within yourself. You ask:

1

How would I see myself if this statement were already true?

2

How would I carry myself?

3

What thoughts would I stop entertaining?

4

What would I no longer need to prove?

5

How would I respond to uncertainty?

6

What choices would feel natural from this identity?

You do not need to invent an exaggerated emotion. Embodiment can feel quiet. It may feel like relief, like certainty, or simply like no longer arguing with the statement. The goal is not an intense emotional performance - it is to become inwardly familiar with the chosen state.

The Practice

How to Practise With Your Card

A few present, intentional moments are more meaningful than many minutes of mechanical repetition.

  • Hold the card in front of you

Let your reflection appear between the engraved words. Take a few slow breaths and relax your face, your shoulders, your body.

  • Look gently into your own eyes

There is no need to stare intensely or force a particular feeling. Softness is enough.

  • Read the statement slowly

Do not rush. After each sentence, pause and let the words connect with the person you see in the reflection.

  • Speak it aloud, whisper, or repeat it silently

Speaking aloud can make the practice more direct - you see yourself, speak the statement, and hear your own voice declaring it at the same time.

  • Recognise, do not try to become

Look at your reflection as though you are meeting the version of yourself who already lives from this state. Notice the expression in your eyes. Notice your posture.

  • Stay as long as it feels sincere

Notice how it feels to stop searching outside yourself for confirmation. A few present moments outweigh many minutes of repetition.

Ask Yourself

“What would it feel like if these words were not a wish, but a description of who I am?”

A Point of Return

Use the Card as a Daily Anchor

A difficult conversation, an unexpected expense, a delay, a disappointment - any of it can reactivate the old identity. This is why the physical card matters. When you see it, hold it, or feel its weight in your hand, it reminds you to return to the state you selected.

  • After waking, before the outside world captures your attention
  • Before sleep, when the mind becomes quieter
  • During meditation or visualisation
  • While journaling or scripting
  • Before an important decision or conversation
  • Whenever you notice yourself returning to an old story
  • Whenever circumstances tempt you to abandon your chosen identity

Each use carries the same message: return to the state.

An Honest Note

The Card Is Not the Source

It holds no supernatural power by itself. It does not manifest on your behalf, and it does not replace your decisions, your actions, or your responsibility.

Its power lies in what it directs you back toward: your self-concept, your inner assumptions, your attention, and the identity from which you live.

The physical card gives form to an invisible decision.

The engraved words remain unchanged. Your reflection may look different each day. Your emotions may change. Your circumstances may change. But the card keeps reminding you of the identity to which you can return.

Nothing Is Missing From the Reflection

You do not need visible evidence before you are allowed to accept a new identity.

You do not need another person to complete the affirmation. You do not need the outside world to approve it first. Your reflection stands between the words because you are the one who gives them life. Without you, they are only engraved sentences.

The person in the reflection is not waiting to be transformed by the manifestation. The person in the reflection is the beginning of it.

A Final Reminder

When you look into your card, do not ask the reflection “When will my desire arrive?” Instead, ask:

“Who am I choosing to be now?”

  • Read the words. Look into your own eyes.
  • Allow the old story to become quiet.
  • Then recognize the person reflected between the manifestation statements.
  • You are not looking at someone who is waiting to become. You are looking at the one who chooses.

The card is the reminder.

You are the state.
